Every time we sip on this drink, it brings us back to being in Tequila and in the agave fields. It is called the “Batanga”, originating from Tequila dating back to the early 60’s. Don Javier Delgado Corona of the bar La Capilla is the one credited for creating the Batanga. This simple and delicious cocktail is quite refreshing being great for the summer heat.

We cannot express how much the town of Tequila holds a special place in our hearts, not only is it the home to our distillery, but also for our early memories of going down to visit. To say the people in Tequila are nice is an understatement. Everyone there is so hospitable, they’ll take you in and make you feel like a member of the family.
